Avonside Safety Management provides the full range of Authorising Engineer Services across numerous sectors including Healthcare, Further Education, National Agencies, and Defence.
As part of the Authorising Engineer (HV and LV) role, we are responsible for implementing, administering and monitoring the application of the Electrical Services Health Technical Memorandums (HTM). We provide both technical and general engineering support to hospital Authorised Persons and engineering staff. Through a process of continual review and auditing of hospital engineering procedures.
Our Authorising Engineers provide the role of "critical friend" to hospital management, presenting reports which identify areas for improvement as well as those where satisfactory procedures are in place.
Our Authorising Engineers also undertake duties to provide hospitals with an approved process of authorisation for persons who are required to work on electrical systems and installations for which hospital management has a responsibility.
