Operations Director

Nick is the Operations Director with the overall responsibility for ASM’s business strategy.  Nick is responsible for the operational, sales, commercial and contractual aspects of the business. Nick also undertakes the role of Authorising Engineer for NHS Trusts and Universities. This role involves carrying out audits in relation to the requirements of companies’ safety management systems and providing technical guidance, training and advice.



Authorising Engineer

Malcolm has held a number of senior engineering positions over the last 30 years within the NHS where he most recently worked as Head of Estates for a large Acute Trust. Malcolm was appointed Authorised Person for HV & LV networks across numerous acute hospitals within the Midlands, each with a wide diversity of switchgear and equipment. Malcolm delivers AE services to a number of Trusts and healthcare providers around the UK.



Development Director

Tony Wallis has worked within the electricity power industry for over 45 years and founded ASM in 1999. He has extensive operational and technical experience working within the Electricity Supply Industry and private sector, and has held key management posts, including heading up the provision of engineering and operations training for a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) for networks ranging from LV to 132kV. Tony has specific responsibility for the design and development of ASM’s technical training courses and technical authoring activities and has acted as an Authorising Engineer for a number of NHS Trusts for over 10 years.
