Course Membership: 
Persons who have successfully completed a Hydrogen Competent Person pre-authorisation training course and are required to manage the safe isolation of Fuel Cell ELectric Vehicle systems.  
 
Course Objectives: 
This course will train and assess persons who are to be appointed as a Hydrogen Authorised Person (H2AP) under the Company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures in their roles and responsibilities as a H2AP to ensure that they possess the necessary knowledge, skill and competence to carry out this role. 
 
On completion of the course, delegates will: 
Have proven knowledge and understanding of the following: 
Recap of general requirements for work on Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles, Hydrogen Fuel Cells & Energy Storage Systems 
Their responsibilities applicable to their level of authorisation 
EV risk assessment prior to commencing Isolation on an isolated FCEV system 
The responsibilities of Hydrogen Competent, Authorised and Senior Authorised Persons to work on dead and isolated FCEV systems 
System Architecture, Components & Safety considerations 
Procedures for isolating and proving Dead FCEV Systems 
Permit to Work procedures - the preparation, issue, suspension/transfer, clearance, and cancellation of PTWs 
Procedures to deal with unplanned or unforeseen events and end of day/shift procedures
