OP7 - Low Voltage Network Switching and Linking

An operational safety training course designed to equip learners with the skills to safely work on distribution network Low Voltage Systems.
This course will introduce the preferred principles and working practices for operational switching on distribution network Low Voltage systems, and will demonstrate the requirements for isolating and making safe Low Voltage networks for work or testing.
The course includes practical training elements on equipment such as LV feeder pillars and link-boxes.
Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will have sufficiant understanding to be nominated for appointment as LV Competent Persons within the workplace electrical safety rules/ safety programme

OP8 - Receipt of Safety Documents

This operational procedure-based safety training course is designed for persons required to receive safety documents in order to complete works.
This course teaches delegates the procedures for recieving an electrical Permit-to-Work or Limitation-of-Access to carry out work on dead and isolated equipment, or work adjacent to live equipment.
Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will have sufficient competence to be considered for safety document receipt within the electrical safety rules/ safety programme.

OP9 - Substation Access

This course covers the risks, hazards and safe access and egress means for High Voltage substations.

OP12 - Low Voltage Competent Person
