Battery System Competent Person Training Course

Course Objectives: 
To train and assess persons who are to be appointed as a Battery Competent Person (BCP) in their roles and responsibilities, to ensure that they possess the necessary knowledge, skill and competence to carry out this role. 
 
On completion of the course, delegates will: 
Have proven knowledge and understanding of the following: 
Principles of EV Battery systems and Battery technology 
Basic electrical principles and electrical units 
Dangers of electricity and requirements for working safely 
Personal and corporate legislative responsibilities 
Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and practical application 
Safe systems of work for Battery assembly activities and their practical application 
Responsibilities of Persons authorised to work on Energy Storage Systems 
 
The responsibility for determining an individual's overall competence and capability, and appointing persons to undertake the role of Battery Competent Persons, rests with the Company.
