Course Objectives
The course is designed to provide an overview of Electric Vehicles, and an awareness of the hazards associated with of working on or adjacent to Electric Vehicles and associated component parts in the workplace.
Upon completion of the course delegates will have proven their knowledge and understanding of the following
Basic electrical theory
Overview of EV and their electrical component parts
Basic dangers of electricity and the effects of electricity on the human body
Company legal requirements and the responsibilities of persons in the workplace
Overview of Company Electric Vehicle safety policy and procedures
Permitted Access and Warning signs, and the control of access to EV and Battery work areas
Permitted and non-permitted tasks on Electric Vehicles
Hazard recognition and how to stay safe
Emergency procedures in the event of an incident
Electric Vehicle charging systems
