Electric Vehicle Senior Authorised Person Training Course

Course Membership:

Persons must have successfully completed an Authorised Person pre-authorisation training course.

Course Objectives:

This course will train and assess persons who are to be appointed as an EV Senior Authorised Person (EV SAP) in their roles and responsibilities as an EV SAP, to ensure that they possess the necessary knowledge, skill, and competence to carry out this role.

On completion of the course, delegates should:

Have proven knowledge and understanding of the following:

Dangers of electricity and requirements for working safely

Understanding the potential danger of Arc Flash, incident energy levels and PPE requirements (reference to NFPA70E)

Their personal and corporate legislative responsibilities

The expected responsibilities of the various authorisation levels

The responsibilties of document recipients and members of a work / test party

Live Working in both routine and non-routine situations

Risk Assessment requirements

Safety document procedures

Emergency procedures
